Miss Pat
Director and Teacher of all forms of dance Patricia Reid
is a New York trained dancer, teacher, and choreographer. Accredited with the Royal Academy method of ballet training, Luigi
jazz, and Jack Stanley tap training. She has also trained with Joe Tremaine, Gus Giordano, Charles Kelly, Mike Lanning, and
Mary Sisom to name a few. She’s choreographed for the community Youth Theater and Williamstown marching band. Her students
represented the studio at the Civic Club, Main Street Festival, talent shows, and Rowan University’s Girl’s Basketball
intermission. Patricia Reid is always eager to get new material and exciting styles of dance to pass along to her staff and
students.
Miss Kathy
Teacher of all forms of dance Kathleen Eng is a New York trained teacher, choreographer,
singer, dancer and actor. While in New York, Kathleen studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and trained with several
dance masters - including David Howard, Phil Black and Luigi. She also attended several dance studios such as Steps and Broadway
Dance Center. Kathleen has toured the country in several national tours including Sing’in in the Rain, The Mystery of
Edwin Drood, Ziegfeld a Night at the Follies, and City of Angels. She is well known in the Rochester, New York region for
her performances as "Fanny Brice" in Funny Girl, "jen" in john & jen, "Mary" in Merrily We Roll Along, among many others.
Kathleen has taught tap, jazz and ballet at Hochstein Music School and tap at Park Avenue Dance in Rochester, New York. Recently
she returned to teach dance at the studio where she began, with her very first teacher - her wonderful mother, Patricia Reid.
Miss Samantha
Teacher of Gymnastic/Cheerleading/Dance Samantha Burkert started as a cheerleader at
the age of 3, and continued cheerleading through high school and college. She began coaching cheerleading at the age of 14
for the Williamstown Warriors and also coached the N.J. State Champion Cheerleading Team at Washington Township High
School. Here, she has choreographed both cheerleading routines and dance routines containing tumbling. She has been taught
tumbling by her uncle who is a professional gymnast and also by her coach in college. She started teaching here at the studio
in the year 2000. At that time she also began taking classes at the studio in all forms of dance. Samantha enjoys teaching
at the studio, she teaches all ages and levels of ability, and is certainly looking forward to another successful year here
at the studio.
Mr. Jack
Jack Reid is a New York trained dancer and has
a degree in the fine and performing arts. His training ranges from a variety of styles such as Luigi, Germaine Salsberg, David
Storey, Frank Hachett, A.C. Ciulla, Charles Kelly, and is well versed in Michael and Janet Jackson style of dance. His creative
and artistic ability as a set designer has enhanced our shows for many years. Jack also choreographed for the community Youth
Theater.
